CURRENT MISSION
broadening my comfort zone
ABOUT ME
I love to do yoga and meditate on nice sunny days in the park and also on cloudy days in the forest, or anywhere that I might find myself. Playing with toys (Hoops, devil sticks, poi or staff etc.). Enjoying the family of the town where I reside. Have a deep yearning to see the world, experience the cultures that exist and to contribute my energy to them. I like to walk barefoot and feel the earth under my feet. Reading books about yogi's in the himalayas or watching documentaries is also a hobby of mine. I also recently learned to knit. I like to work with my hands and build things or repair things (like old houses). I play music, mostly bluesy funky things.
Right now my goals are set in the ways of woodworking. I have a deep passion to learn all about wood and to learn how I may use it as a form of expression. I am all about this "spiritual Path" that people are talking about these days, except I prefer to talk about it in more rational, pracitcal terms, we could call it Personal Development. I think it's great to have an idea of where you want to go, what you want to do and who you want to be. Even having vague answers to these questions can be a great guide for us in the moment to moment, spontaneous experiences that we all love so much. They may give us a sense of direction and knowing that we are working towards something, and in the spontaneous experiences be able to see that light.
PHILOSOPHY
Work in progress... things always change so it's important to be as free and open to the changes to be able to enjoy every moment as much as possible. Allow yourself to dream, make a plan. Write your plans in pencil so that you can change them when spontaneous opportunity arises.
