CURRENT MISSION

We are heading to Japan soon and currently have 4 friends staying here from Japan and i have decided to open up our beautiful kire home to all travellers. If you are Japanese then that is wonderful because we are all learning Nihong go!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am open to sharing my home. Guests will stay in a dome (pagoda) upstairs with glass windows all around and access to sit on the roof and enjoy the amazing view we have here of Quamby Bluff mountain. ITS MAGIC!
Everyone who has stayed here with us has found it hard to leave :) sometimes staying for weeks more than anticipated, so be prepared for that!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted for a short time in 2008 but was pregnant and now little Dalilah is almost 4 years old and absolutely delightful! Ive wwoofed, help exchanged, couch surfed and travelled around all my life so i understand life on the road :)

I play harp, a little guitar and mouth bow and i make puppets and do an occassional show. I enjoy preparing raw cuisine and learning everything and anything about Japan. Im experienced with 10 years of middle eastern dance of which i taught for 5 years but have retired. I am a mother of 3 but will be travelling to Japan with my youngest, Dalilah :) and we cant wait :) My son, 13 lives here with us also and my eldest daughter lives interstate

having my last child was a homebirth and the most enjoyable, pain free experience i have had in my life. Living in my bus with little belongings and knowing where the real freedom is...inside!

I want to learn more Nihon go, Japanese language mostly but i love learning music, ANY bush crafts, weaving, thatching etc... gardening
i wish to learn everything and i not long ago realised i could not do all the things i desire to do in this simple life time :D
