About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to love, live life to the fullest, and see as much of the world as possible

ABOUT ME

I'm just a girl with big dreams. I won't settle for an ordinary existence. I want meaning, authenticity, truth, passion, poetry, adventure, and an ever changing backdrop to the story of my life. I want to see the world. I want love. I want it all.

I love being outdoors. Anything that puts me in the center of nature enchants me. I love the breeze in my hair and the sun on my skin.

I constantly contemplate my own mortality. This drives me on to seize the day. I believe the best source of pleasure, education, and companionship can be found when wandering an unknown land. I long to see more of nature, the hidden and nearly unreachable corners of the globe.

I am sensual. I love anything that excites my senses... beauty, food, art, love, travel, music. I'm insatiable in this respect. I am always yearning for the new and refreshing. That is part of the reason I am a born traveler. I love being astounded, in awe, frozen in delight by something I have never heard, seen, tasted, or felt.

I am a complicated little creature that is content to never feel too settled. I am most myself, most peaceful, when I am in harmony with Nature and the Earth.

PHILOSOPHY

CARPE DIEM, ABHINIVESHA, SAPERE AUDE. I will be dead one day. My chance to live is now and I am infinitely aware of the fact. I want to see and do as much as possible. At the end of my life I know that I will not regret the things I have done only the things I was yet to do. So I will seize the day... I will travel, live, and love with impulse, lust, passion, and reckless abandon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Reflections of Panama

"When a dream finally crosses the threshold into reality it is unforgettable; a moment immortalized. I look up at the mist and the sun's rays shining down through the canopy. The sounds fill my ears; of insects chirping, humming, creaking; the birds calling, squawking, singing. The buzz of mosquitoes and the weight of humidity surround me. My skin is damp. I see the green, all over the green, beautiful varieties of plants, leaves, trees, palms, vines, ferns, shrubs, and flowers; butterflies, snakes, and the rustle of creatures unseen.

I'm standing there- and I look all around me - and it's as if I'm frozen in the moment, completely alone and still. And, I realize I'm here. I catch my breath from the hike. I observe the mud on my boots, the notes in my log, my backpack, and the faint and reassuring scent of insect repellent.

Passion, adventure, confidence, excitement.

I realize I am somewhere I've dreamed of being. I've walked into this jungle and made my desires a reality. And for this - I feel alive. I not only reflect on it now, but then, because then I knew. I felt like myself. I felt wild, passionate, and unafraid of anything. I was me, in the jungle, and I was free."
