ABOUT ME

I'm a cool chick from Toronto, Canada who first started using CS for a 7 month trip around Australia. I love a good time and tend to not worry about the little things. I'm very respectful of boundaries and pride myself on being considerate of others. I'm great on my own but enjoy the company of others whenever I can and I'm usually up to go anywhere that I'm told will be a good time on a moments notice. Whatever you want to show me I'm more than willing to try or learn (at least once) and I'd sure appreciate it!

I think people aren't supposed to discover themselves in life but create themselves. If you see something that you want to do or someone you admire you have it in yourself make that activity/trait a part of your life. There's no reason why someone shouldn't be the complete person they want to be.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Experienced couch-surfing for the first time while traveling Australia. Also attended some CS meetups while there and did touristy things with fellow CSers. Would love to have the opportunity to host someday.

You're asking a film student their favourite movie?? Very tough but here's a few of my favourites:
The Constant Gardener, Bringing up Baby, Silver Linings Playbook, North by Northwest, Amelie, Moulin Rouge, Charade, Little Miss Sunshine, V For Vendetta, Thelma and Louise, Lilo and Stitch, Hercules, Holiday Inn, and Gladiator.

Dave Matthews is my favourite band but I listen to so much variety. Really enjoy Jazz and World Music too. Basically, most things.

I tend to read a lot of non-fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took a big step in conquering my fear of drowning and sharks when I went night diving with reef sharks in Australia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to learn to speak spanish and I'm always interested in learning about new cultures and trying new activities. I know quite a lot about movies/movie-making, painting/drawing, nutrition/fitness, skiing, and canoeing.
