About Me

ABOUT ME

We're traveling in Jamaica during our summer break!. We live in and love Minneapolis. We are active and like to dance, drink coffee and bike but where we spend most of our energies now is in graduate school studying public health. On the side we're trying to learn a little Spanish. We're a passionate believers that your life is what you make of it so we are always striving to end each day better than I started it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I just finished the book "Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius". Now time to start "Love in the Time of Cholera" (but sadly needing to read it in English).

All music! Alternative, 90s rock, hip hop, country, etc. Recently discovered reggaeton, salsa, Cuban...how did I never hear any of this for 20 years!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just now, I had an amazing experience with ice cream. Outside of an ice creameria (?) I was licking the ice cream and the cone broke because the cones in Mexico are not as structurally sound as they are in the US. So, as the two scoops dive toward the side walk, I miraculously caught the ice cream with my bare hands and was able to plop it back into the cone. As good as new (not considering the messy, sticky hands). Ummm...and then I found $10 (isn't that what you're supposed to say after a not-so-interesting story).

Countries I’ve Visited

Panama, Puerto Rico
