CURRENT MISSION
Making the most of New York City
ABOUT ME
HEY: I started using this service back in 2009 when I lived in China for a summer. I feel off the wagon in 2010-11 because of a roommate who wasn't interested in playing host. Anyways, I'm back now. I can't always host, but when I can I will! Please ignore the low response rate, I'll get back to you now!
Raised outside New Haven, live in New York.
I love reading, most of all modernist novels, and am starting to enjoy Paul Auster. I like to spend my days off listening to music, reading about food, exploring the urban interior, and cooking. I enjoy running and would like to start biking around the city.
Come cook with me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At age nine, I saw the ruins of a 11th century monastery in Ireland. I remember being amazed that things existed that long ago. That was eleven years ago and I still remember it vividly, so it must have left an impression on me.
Also, I really enjoyed listening to the seals and sea lions bark at the Point Lobos wildlife refugee. Really, just the Big Sur in general.
Going broke in China with 3 weeks until my flight.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to cook. I can tell you a good amount about American literature.
I'm trying to learn more about photography. I want to learn to cook Chinese.
