Friendship and love for peace among creatures.

ABOUT ME

A sociable thinker. Fifth year at uni, studying law besides statistics. Interested in examining different ways of life, history, politics, religion, social structures. I also have a passion for solidarity movements. I enjoy slow conversations and get hyped by live arts!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a great Interrail trip through many Balkan countries and surfed some couches there, too! Have had some fab guests in Turku, as well. You're welcome, too!

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer thoughtprovoking, "slow" movies instead of those with action and explosions.

When it comes to music, every kind of it has it's own moments, but if I had to name a band, I especially like The Beatles. Update in 2019: if I had to loop one album for the rest of my life, it would be the soundtrack of Demain by Fredrika Stahl!

Usually I read what others recommend, so feel free to give me a tip! :) Some favourites: Riad Sattouf's 'Arabe du futur', Yaa Gyasi's 'Homecoming', Michael Ende's 'Momo', Dalton Trumbo's 'Johnny Got His Gun', and all Politkovskaya articles/essays.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A two-pound courgette. I saw it grow.

Teach, Learn, Share

Languages I cannot know many enough. Getting a taste of lifestyles, visions and opinions is what interests me. I can teach you bake a lovely apple pie and read you poems.

What I Can Share with Hosts

All my cooking skills (not much, but decent!) and long, complex jokes. If you want to learn Finnish or Hungarian, that can be arranged too, but I cannot recommend it...

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Netherlands, Romania, Russian Federation, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

England, Finland, France, Hungary
