About Me

Currently: Living in Mexico until September 2023.

“The secret of adventure, then, is not to carefully seek it out but to travel in such a way that it finds you."
- Rolf Potts.

I am vegan.

I am queer.

I love all creatures great and small.

My spirit longs for a life in the woods.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe couch surfing is the best way to explore a country, to really experience culture and to connect with local people. So many things I have seen and experienced simply would not have been possible if it was not for this incredible community.

In terms of being a host, I am most interested in connecting with people who will be spending long periods of time in Melbourne or moving here.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCH SURFING?
1. By hosting lovely folk
2. By sleeping on couches, floors, beds, in tents or vans of those who are kind enough to let me
3. By meeting up with travellers, both locally and internationally, to share stories, experiences and connections

Music, Movies, and Books

My ears and soul enjoy lots of different types of music: soul, hip-hop, electronic, folk, grunge... Anything I can dance too is good :)

I generally like films based on true stories and documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While travelling in Canada I was lucky enough to spend one night lying on a rooftop watching the Northern Lights dance across the sky. I was staying out on an acreage in Alberta with the great aunt and uncle of a friend of mine. I scaled a satellite pole and managed a meter's leap across to the roof of their two story house. My friends great uncle, well into his 70's joined me. We were both like two kids, unable to contain our excitement. I still don't know how the two of us managed to get up there, must have been adrenaline. But the lights, the lights were truly one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to live/travel on a shoe string in Melbourne.

I would like to learn a Spanish.

Share my home if you need a roof, my food if your hungry, my blankets if you are cold, my umbrella if its raining, my stories if your bored.
