I love art, music, travel, photography, teaching, exercising, trying new things. I love to stay active and challenge myself always. I realize that life is short, and too many people take it for granted. I try not to do that. I spend my time enjoying nature, biking, swimming, playing with my pets, talking to my friends and family, enjoying the occasional comedy on TV, and doing my best to stay away from the news because it brings me down. I try to stay positive about the world, but that's tough sometimes. However, I do my best. I'm generally a happy person and like to have fun whenever and wherever possible!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The moment my friend Jill and I stepped off of the bus in Cadaques, Spain, I was awestruck and asked her to pinch me because I was sure it was heaven. I have yet to see a more idyllic, picturesque village that was so beautiful, it was like being in an actual painting.

Costa Rica was also beautiful. We stayed on a little island called Tortuguero, and in order to get there, you had to take a little motor boat up the river for over an hour through the jungle. Upon arrival to the hotel/resort, we stepped off our boats into a tropical oasis of vibrant turquoise, vivid greens, reds, oranges, pinks, yellows, and every other color imaginable. It was a peaceful and serene paradise with sounds from the jungle, the ocean, the wildlife, and the insects at night. I loved it. Each time I left my room, my senses were overcome with such beauty that it left me humbled and...awestruck.
