ABOUT ME

I'm 29 and have been living in Japan for 5 years. My husband and I are moving to America, and on the way will be traveling for 1 month to 8 different countries!! Mostly, we've booked hotels along the way, but now I'm thinking about couch surfing a couple of times, for the different experience, to meet locals, and to save some cash.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done a couple of home-stays that were organized by community groups in Germany, US, and Japan. Very fun and great learning experiences! But I've just discovered the couch surfing phenomenon and have yet to jump in and give it a try... hopefully will be able to surf soon, and as soon as I'm settled back in the US with a home and a job, I'll for sure be opening up my couch to others!
