I am an old soul with an ever curious inner child! A free dreamer and a wanderer. I often wish this life was a musical, and have songs to sing about everything, some of my friends call me Mary Poppins haha! I adore jazz and all great music, exploring places I've never been to before, nature walks and conversing about astronomy, quantum physics and other crazy things about this marvellous universe! It is a gift to be alive and I don't intend on wasting it.

I am a qualified optometrist, but after a couple years of the 9-5 life, I realised although I enjoy helping people through fixing their eyes, I need to pursue my true passions to be fulfilled in life. So in a leap of faith 6 months ago I quit my job and now I am a full time professional singer/ musician and in a band. I love meeting new people from all over the world, making genuine connections with kind people, sharing our stories, inspiring each other; forever opening my eyes, and expanding my mind. Who knows what's the universe has in store for us just around the corner! :)

I heard about this from friends and it sounded like a wonderful idea! I fully support these kinds of movements in the world where individual people can reach out to help others.

Both to surf and to host others one day when I'm actually in one permanent location for a long time lol. I travel a lot currently.

This is such a hard one to narrow down! I might have to come back and refill this another time haha but off the top of my head:

Norah Jones, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, The Carpenters, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Joe Satriani.. The music list goes on for awhile.

Movies and Books: I love documentaries. I love astronomy. I'm also very in touch with my spirituality and enjoy books and movies that grow me and expand my mind and consciousness. There is an old fashioned part of me too that adores Jane Austen and Audrey Hepburn films. Hehe

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Haha it's really hard to pick one! But off the top of my head it took a lot of courage to quit my stable job as an optometrist to pursue my passion of being a full time travelling musician. But I'm doing it! And I've never looked back.

Stories, I love people's stories and what we can learn from them and take inspiration from. With a curious mind, I read about a great range of subjects- anything about science, il nerd out with you! I am a qualified optometrist, so yes you can ask me eye questions and ask me about your glasses and contacts too! Haha :P I am also a full time professional singer and musician playing keys/ synth/ bass keys. Maybe we can have a Jam. I like to consider myself a good cook too. I could teach you some English / Mandarin Chinese/ Shanghainese. I'm learning French and Japanese so I would love to practise these with you. Most of all I just love to make genuine connections with people.
