About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to follow my curiousity wherever it takes me around the world. I love meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and having amazing experiences. Sounds trite, I know, but its the truth!
ABOUT ME
I am a 35-year-old Puerto Rican (mom) and West Indian (dad is from St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands) female. I am currently single and living in Jersey City, New Jersey right across the Hudson river from New York City. I lived in Washington, D.C. for many years and then moved to Brooklyn, New York in 2001, two weeks before 9/11. Sigh. I loved my four years in Brooklyn and still spend a lot of time there but needed to move to Jersey for graduate school and my work in 2005. I love live music more than anything, watching good films, drinking wine, cooking, going out to dinner, hanging out in coffee shops, hiking, jogging, meditation, reading, biking and sharing a laugh with good friends and family. I am also very partial to beaches, mountains, rolling hills, and winding country roads.
PHILOSOPHY
I have been following a Buddhist spiritul path for awhile now so in sum, I live my life to learn about the world and expand my compassion and love for all sentient beings.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies I am interested?....that would take too long. Music, I could go on for days. I like reading newspapers, blogs, magazines, and books about psychology, Buddhism, history, and politics. I also enjoy modern novelists like Jeffrey Eugenides, Wally Lamb, Phillip Roth, Jhumpa Lahiri, and re-reading classics like 'Catcher in the Rye.'
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My trips to both Sierra Leone and Morocco were very special to me because they happened at short notice and changed how I looked at the world forever.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach meditation, cook you a meal, take you out to dinner and accompany you on a tour of New York City. My passion is learning and sharing with people about anything.
