ABOUT ME

The first impression most people get, is that I'm small and sweet, for an european. But that's not all, I like to do things that are my passion, I like to be outside with other people. I like to experience, and to see what is around the world. To see things and to meet interesting people. I'm an enthousiastic, energetic person, but I can sit still and enjoy as well.
I'm curious what I'm gonna experience through couch surfing!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to participate in this project trough sharing. Sharing my story's, and listening to others. Sharing my experience and learning from others. Sharing my place, and home town to everbody who likes it. Seeing other places, and sharing there something of me, what is or could be useful.
And is that not the main part of this project?!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had some nice couchsurfing experiences, but not based on the network of this website. I've done cycle tours through the Nethederlands, sleeping every night on a different couch. And I like to sleep at another place as my place.
But the coolest experience I've had was last year. I was hitchhiking to an boulder location, and for this reason I had a crash-pad with me. A crash-pad is a big, foam, thing and when you hang it on you are just like spongebob. We use it to fall, a bit, softer, because bouldering is climbing without a rope.
Hitchhiking was not going very well that day; we had planned to go to Paris but stranded in Leuven. (Belgium). We looked for a hostel, but everthing was full and we had to move to anywhere else. When we were sitting in the train station, disapponted and tired, a man was coming to us. Where we looking for a place to sleep?
Offcourse we are! The man had spotted us, one walking like spongebob, the other like the Hulk, with a backpack full of stuff of two people (to camp!). First he had see us going to a hostel, and than coming back, so he was looking for us.
We have had a very nice sleep there and a really nice evening, talking and walking around Leuven. It is a nice city, especcialy the people :).
Afther wards he was on a big cycle tour around Europe, and we have showed him our place :).

Well, looking over my profile, I think it is clear that I like to climb.
But I've a lot more interests! I like to be outside, especially with a horse not far away. I like to run organisations, especially an enverimental organisation. I like to lead groups, especially with young people. I like to see the nature of our planet. I like to meet the people of the same planet. I like to see the sun and the rain, the mountains and the desert. I like to dance, to talk and to listen. I like to be creative and uninventive. I like to experience and to see everything. I like to be shoked and to think about paradoxes. I like to understand and to got no clue.
Well, I think, I like to live :).
