Working my way to Veterinary School while running a community garden in Brooklyn.

ABOUT ME

I am a gardener, bicyclist, vegetarian, environmental educator, and science lover. I own one cat, one dog, and 40 house plants. I recently re-entered school to pursue a second degree in biology and chemistry in order to advance towards Veterinary Medicine. In my free time I ride my bike to the beach, volunteer at an Animal Shelter, and run a non-profit community garden in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. I love traveling and don't get to do it often. However, I make a great ambassador! One of my absolutely favorite things in the whole world is to show visitors around my home town, New York City. Everyone is welcome.

It's hard to say you've done something amazing when there are always things to be done. But I do indeed think it's wonderful that my cat and dog sleep together.
