ABOUT ME

I'm relatively new to DC. I spent the better art of my 20's living in rural Africa. I work in international development. I'm a slave to the grind working for the weekend. It's been a strange change from working in the field, but I'm enjoying exploring a new city. I love the North East and Have lived in Philadelphia, New York City and Boston.

The best way to see a new place is with a local! I've done couch surfing, WWOOF and hostels all over the world and generally these methods to hotels! Though a nice hotel pool is always great.

I love historical fiction for both books and TV. I don't do cable, so pop culture is often lost on me. I'm more of a library and Netflix chic.

Back packing through India, safaris in Murchison Falls and Kidepo Valley National Parks in Uganda, 30 person tubing trip down the Shenandoah River, complete with beer rafts!
