I am a lover of all things music and theatre; I’m a musical performer mainly, but teach voice and guitar on the side. I love travelling and I love meeting people from all walks of life.

I am here because I think it's important when travelling not to be a tourist, but to try and experience what it must actually be like living in the place you're going! I think a good way of doing that is meeting people who live there and not staying in a hotel. I want to live and breathe the place I am visiting!

I love pretty much all music. Freddie Mercury and Queen are the reason I wanted to be on the stage, and that hasn’t changed one bit! I also love me some country tunes: Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts. Also folk! My dad introduced me to an incredible folk duo called The Milk Carton Kids and I became obsessed. I just love music that tells a story, and artists that believe what they’re saying. And obviously musical theatre! My fave musicals are Fiddler on the Roof, Mary Poppins, Matilda, Bonnie & Clyde, Sweeney Todd, Jekyll & Hyde (I can’t stop naming them!).
I have many favourite movies and tv shows; my taste is pretty eclectic whichever form of art is may be. Tv shows such as Supernatural, How I Met Your Mother, Gavin & Stacey, The Office (UK), Extras, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Blacklist, Father Brown. Movies like The Princess Bride, Love Actually, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Bohemian Rhapsody, Murder on the Orient Express, Christopher Robin, Baby Driver, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri, Their Finest. And many more! Mainly love reading murder mysteries and real crime.

I am more than happy to cook and make coffees (if you have a coffee machine!). And am always down for adventures and chats! Would also be more than happy to talk about Australia and home for anyone thinking of wanting to come down under. I live in the middle of so many beaches in south-east Queensland, and can recommend plenty of neat things to see and do! 😃
