ABOUT ME

So, i'm Elize.
I'm a girl who is born and raised in small towns in the Netherlands. I always lived with my family and I like to live in the country, but when I'm moving out I really want to live in a big city.

I'm 19 now and have just started my trip trough Europe. Together with a friend I'm going to travel for four months. I haven't seen that much of the world yet, but I hope to learn a lot in those four months. I hope I will be more independent when I come back.

When I first meet people I am always a bit shy but when I get to know them I'm a crazy and chatty girl. I like to meet people who I can really talk to and depend on. That's what I want to be to people too. A friend who they can trust.

In my life I want to see as much and do as much as I can. I want to really get to know the beauty of this world.

PHILOSOPHY

Get at much experiences in your life as you can.
Try everything that you can en try to enjoy life.
Know what you're talking about before giving your opinion.
But mostly: think about others, not only about yourself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to participate more in the future. Right now i don't have any experience and everything is new. But i'm going to study in Amsterdam next September, so I hope to be a nice host then.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am couchsurfing right now in Berlin. It is very exciting, this is my first time! I'm here for two days now and i really like it. It's so cool to meet people who are really living in this city. I like to know them and not only be a tourist.

Intereses

I like to read, a lot.
I love movies and going to the cinema.
For once in a while i like to play football, but i used to love it more.
I like to go on trips, little ones or big ones, and to meet new people, see new things.
I like to go party with friends.
And, when i'm in the mood, to do crazy impulsive things.

Música, películas y libros

I like all kinds of books. My favorite author is Sandor Marai. I just love the way he can describe a situation that you can feel the atmosphere in that scene.

Music: chill and relaxing music, but sometimes music to party. Bon Iver, The Shins, Spinvis, Tegan and Sara, N.E.R.D., Lily Allen, Kanye West, John Mayer.
