About Me

I think I should start with basics, I'm an Erasmus student for one semester in Germany, Bremen. Great opportunity for travelling and meeting with new foreign people. In this journey, learning some new cultures and languages are so exciting and interesting for me. Because of that nowadays I'm so open for some new things to try and also new languages to learn.

Moreover, I'm open-minded and harmonious I can tell. I've been in several places around Turkey and Europe before. But we can never stop travelling, right? That's why I am planing to use this Erasmus as an oppurtunity to travel again but more places this time I hope. Also for this year I am so into hichhiking so I am planing to do my trips by hitchhiking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all, CS is a really good provider for great people, great experiences, different life and travel stories and so on. Also this place has loads of people who share the same goal in their lifes : Explore Your World. That's the first reason I am here; to meet with people like me and experince their lifes a little bit. Besides, I can tell that my previous experiences with CS was so great.

Besides that, I know everyone is avoding to talk about it or they dont accept this fact but, I'm here because you don't have to pay, while you are having those great things that Ive mentioned above so, why not ?

More, everything in CS based on trust. I love this about CS and Traveller's soul. I want to be a part of this journey with the other participants.

Interests

I'm a musician. I love to listen some good and hidden musics and explore new genres all around the world. It's so interesting for me to see how people influence the development of music. I also like to make some music since I've been playing drums for several years. To learn some new informations about different genres is also so seductive for me.

I'm interested in photo and video taking. It's so enjoyable to arrange videos that I took with my best friend as diaries . We believe that after one of us died - sad but it will happen somehow - these documents will be a tresure for us.

Nowadays I'm into cooking too. From the time that I came Germany for Erasmus, I learned how to cook really good Turkish dishes. The main reason was decreasing the expenses for food, but then it became as a hobby that makes me relaxed. Movies, books are also cool but I'm not spending that much time with them.

Also I should add that I love camping. One of the best vacation that you can ever have. You can chill, you can have a real conversation with your people without any internet connection or technological distractions. I really feel free and I am able to experience the nature while I'm camping. I couldnt find a chance to camp in a place instead of Turkey yet. If you have some recommandations please don't hesitate to write me!

Even If I am not able to do this since I am here in Bremen, I really like to have some instractive conversation with my best friend crew.

Music, Movies, and Books

Actually its hard to separate movies and musics one to another but if i have to say one that influenced me deeply, it is definetely "About Time", in that it changed my point of view to life.

There are loads of options as musics that i love. As i said before i love explore different genres, even glitch. For now i prefer mostly reggae, ambient, some folk german music like Feuerschwanz, to improve my German, and so on. However, classics will be remain as classics like Beatles, Pink Floyd, Queen, Bob Dylan, Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra...

Finally, I'm not the guy for books I guess but, the best noval I've ever read was definitely Dante Club.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Running on the beach, naked, in the darkness when we were camping at woods. The stars were just amazing and the feeling of the wind... I can definitely say that it was one of the best thing that I've ever done.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my conversation and experiences, dishes that cooked by me. We can also play some music if the person/persons are interested in. For the rest let's let them as surprises.
