Hey everyone! I am Ece from Izmir, Turkey. I am currently studying Business at Izmir Dokuz Eylul University and also working as a Human Resources specialist. I am fluent in English & Turkish. Barely can understand and speak German. Can read and write with Krill alphabet just in case :)
I like to explore cities and surroundings. Always chasing the activities like opera, ballet, theater, movies, concerts etc.
I am still trying to find myself and believe in that the best option is traveling. So I can see new places, meet new people and make lifelong friends, engage with different cultures.
Suddenly I will find my way to go and the best fit, I believe 🤞.
I like to grab a drink and taste new things, go for a walk/ hike, visit the museums and squares if I am trying to explore a city :)
I am trying to be sustainable during my travels. I usually prefer to take the train/ shared vehicles or buses if that is possible. Always carrying my stuff with my beloved backpack. And usually stay over at friend’s houses, hostels and would like to experience CouchSurfing too!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

The main reason is I am in debt and can’t afford my travels with accommodation included budget for now.
But there are also positive things like making new friends. i have friends all over the globe and I really like to meet up with them over and over again, plan my next trip with them etc.
And I didn’t know that Couchsurfing has options like casual meetings around the hometown or where you travel. I really would like to join the meetings I am interested . It can help me to see or find places/ things that I probably cannot discover by myself :)
