ABOUT ME
I always have a hard time filling these out haha. Well I'm 20 years old, live/study in NYC, and am now abroad in the beautiful city of Prague for fall semester. I play guitar, but suffer from horrendous stage fright. I haven't been traveling for that long, but ever since I saw Spain in 2007 I've been trying to see the world as much as possible. Umm let's see..biking, animals, listening, drawing.. i want to say music...but no one really doesn't right?
PHILOSOPHY
This section will probably change at least ten times. At the moment, I'm just trying to go with whatever life gives me, enjoy where i am, and meet as many new people as possible. So far, no matter where I am, it's people that make travel and experiences worthwhile.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far, I've found that the best way to experience a new place is by meeting people, and that's what I'm hoping CS will let me do. I can't host at the moment unfortunately, but I'm a lovely house guest if I do say so myself. Good conversation and a place to stay is really all I need.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm currently a newbie. I just got to Europe a few weeks ago, and had heard such amazing stories about CS from friends that I couldn't not sign up. Someone I know apparently met one of their now best friends from a CS trip. It's such an amazing idea and I'm happy to be a part of it!

Traveling, playing music, attempted singing music, meeting new people, trying to relax, biking, attempting/struggling learning spanish.

Music, Movies, and Books
October Sky, Amadeus, Forrest Gump, Apollo 13, Star Wars, most Disney and Pixar, My Cousin Vinny... most movies actually. I rarely dislike them.
Oh man... Beatles, Clapton, James Taylor, Iron & Wine, Basshunter, Backstreet Boys (still going strong haha), Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Mika, Why?, Sara Bareilles, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Mashups in general.. and a lot more.
Books.. well i'll just put the one that got me so interested in travel. It's called The Geography of Bliss. This guy travelled all over the world trying to find the 10 happiest countries, and figure out what made them happy. One of the most interesting books I've ever read. It's also what made me want to go to Iceland so badly :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This sounds cheesy, but one of the first things that popped into my head was my first memorable plane trip, when I looked out the window and saw the clouds. I just remember being completely awestruck and was so confused why everyone else on the plane wasn't the same way haha.
Teach, Learn, Share
The more I've stopped listening to other people, and just focused solely on what I wanted out of life, the happier I've been. It's your time here, you should be doing exactly what makes you happy. Simple, but some of the best advice I've ever stuck to.

Austria, Denmark, Israel, Morocco, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom
