I lived in Seattle for two years and moved back after I graduated.

What I am doing now:
Writing a collection of stories about Lyft drivers
Reading books about people who are dying
Painting

I am a student for life. I always want to live as curious as a 5 year old kid - that's why I am into working with youth so much, because of my chubby baby face and funny expressions . My Chinese name sounds similar to "solskinn" (sunshine) in Norwegian - which means comfortable sunny days - just like my personality!

I left high school in China and went to the U.S. for college. Having been living in the west coast for several years, I don't identify as Chinese neither American since every place I have lived in add a little bit difference and complication to myself. I am on my way to be a global citizen, and I would love to absorb a little piece of stories from every person I meet and I will meet.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I have couchsurfed in Norway(non officially) and done WWOOFing in Thailand. Both have been great experience and I have met great people that changed my perspectives on life. We talked about life, philosophy, capitalism, anarchism, ecology and education... that made me more and more interested in meeting people in travel!

I like to talk to people on the streets, such as street artists(mostly), strangers, cashiers, small business owners. Each of them is an unknown book - I chose them and they chose which pages they would like me to read. I like to reflect on their stories and let their energy/perspective be a part of me.

So that's why I decided to meet more new people all over the work here. I wan to learn more about people, culture, language and keep changing and bring new perspectives of life.
