Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I met a host once who told me, why he joined couchsurfing instead of airbnb. When you are young you are most likely to TAKE rather than GIVE. He took a lot when he was young, at that time he has nothing but a brave heart to explore the world, he visited many places even some poor areas, those kind hearted local people gave him lots of help. Now he lives a better life so he try to "give" more than "take" .

I believe couchsurfing is a system like this. some people are giving, some people are taking. Those who take now may give back in future, those who give now were given before. It's a virtuous circle.

Interests

I like travelling and sport especially extreme sports., . Sailing / rock climbing/ frisbee / football are my hobbies.

Most of my time I spend on sailing training or racing, or sailing stories writing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Clipper round the world yacht race April -June 2016, 40 days on sea round North America , from Seattle though Panama Canal to New York .

I did some offshore sailing races such as Round Hainan regatta(580nm, 4days ) , China Sailing Tour (300nm,62 Hours ). More than 20 inshore sailing races .

I attended the 3 China Cup races(sailing), one of the biggest and most wellknown sailing regatta in China.

I did 40 meters high bungee jumping.(not high enough)

I did 12 times roller coaster in 3 hours at my birthday.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach Chinese, share Chinese culture and cook Chinese food. Also my sailing experience round North America.
