About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Heading to Shaky Knees music festival in Atlanta, GA for the first time!
ABOUT ME
Artsy, friendly, upbeat, equally introverted and extroverted (ambivert?!), adventurous. Majored in Music Performance and English but now work as a freelance writer as well as a grant writer and development associate for nonprofits.
I also wrote this once, in my golden youth: http://www.mcsweeneys.net/articles/an-open-letter-to-the-dead-joints-in-my-feet
PHILOSOPHY
"Down the hall came the wife. She was glorious, burning. She didn't know yet that her husband was dead. We knew. That's what gave her such power over us. The doctor took her into a room with a desk at the end of the hall, and from under the closed door a slab of brilliance radiated as if, by some stupendous process, diamonds were being incinerated in there. What a pair of lungs! She shrieked as I imagined an eagle would shriek. It felt wonderful to be alive to hear it! I've gone looking for that feeling everywhere." - Denis Johnson, Jesus' Son
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love meeting new people, and as soon as I have my own place in New York I would love to host them as well.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have stayed with several wonderful hosts in Germany, and am looking forward to meeting many more in the future!
Interests
I like to try out dive bars and cocktail establishments with equal abandon. Play basketball, write, voraciously read, and explore whatever city I happen to find myself in.

Teach, Learn, Share
