ABOUT ME

I'm a 25-year-old Chinese girl. I started travelling since graduation from high-school. I traveled around China and from the second year of university I started travelling abroad. Since then, I was addicted to travelling. For me, the most fascinating thing about travelling is that you can get away from your culture for a while and be totally the one you want to be. Meeting different kinds of people and stuffing alien food into my stomach and seeing all the stunning view make me feel I'm reborn again. The more new things I experience, the more freedom I get to choose my life.

During my university years, I went to most of the south-eastern Asian country. After graduation I was offered to a post-graduate program without test. I accepted it. But after half a year I felt it was not what I wanted. So I quit school and spent the next half year travelling to India and Nepal. It was where I started my CS experience.

In 2015, I came to Guyana and worked there. Yet it's not Guyana that brought me there. It's the whole South America.

Today is June 22, I just sent my resignation letter. Now it's time to be back on CS again.

WHY I'M ON COUCHSURFING

While traveling, I prefer backpack style. I love trecking, hiking, diving, camping and so on. I don't appreciate sitting -in-a-bus and photo-taking style. What is local is what I eat and wear. So I don't stay in luxury hotels and eat in fancy restaurant. Sometimes I even ignore those famous tourist site. Because for me, the most beautiful places is not in advertisement and tourist guide. That's why I like to stay with local people, talk to them, understand their culture and experience the authentic.

My other hobbies change a lot. I'm always willing to try and learn new things. Now I'm playing the guitar, yet the next minute I may be rock-climbing.
