Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a progressive thinker who loves to travel and pack light in life always. I am passionate about art, culture, nature and health. I enjoy organic foods and outdoor exercise. Nature is my friend and I love animals. I always meet amazing people through my travels and I believe the universe is leading my journey.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a newbie. I just signed up as I am traveling to Costa Rica for three weeks and would love to try this out. I have several friends who host in San Diego, California where I am from and I have met some amazing people through them who they have hosted. I would love to host once I return to San Diego and would love to meet some amazing new people through my travels.

Interests

I love nature, the environment, biking, hiking, the ocean, the beach, dancing, good wine, beer and food. Meeting great people, hearing their stories, psychology and philosophy, good film, art and culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I believe we are put on this earth to learn and grow and to spread love and light to others and help them on their journey as well. I love doing this and learning about other cultures and ways of life and thinking. I am not a typical American. I am free thinking, open minded and spiritual.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming with dolphins in the Bahamas, sun bathing with sea turtles in Hawaii, seeing a beautiful work of art such as a Broadway production or masterpiece or exhibit at a museum. It brings tears to my eyes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love meeting all different kinds of people from all walks of life. We have so much to learn from each other and share with each other and it is great to see new places from the eyes of the people who live there. I do not want to be a typical tourist. I want to experience life from the locals eyes and show my surfers the same when they come to stay with me.
