About Me

ABOUT ME

Couchsurfing is a great network and I am excited to be involved. People would probably describe me as an eco-warrior and an enthusiastic, badly coordinated dancer.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is not a rehearsal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I work as a human rights researcher in London, and when I am not working I am cooking, dancing and loving life.

I think that it is important to work consciously to stay open-minded throughout your life - travelling and meeting new people are some of the best ways to do this :)

Right now, I mainly surf, but in future I will host (once I have a house of my own!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not couchsurfed much, but my two experiences were amazing, involving a tasting trip to the Wine Country and a night of Chicago blues.

Amelie, Walk the Line, Motorcycle Diaries

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I met a man at the top of a misty mountain who was part of the USA's first 'pay it forward kidney chain'.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can offer help with the English language, (maybe) the Spanish language, and (hopefully) with your brass instrument playing skills. I also have a lot of campaigning experience, if you want any ideas for strategies.

Learn: There is lots I would like to learn. I am always interested to hear about different music, poetry or artists, as well as new branches of the environmental and feminist movements.

That said, I like to find out more about things I know nothing about already.

Share: Ideas, enthusiasm, conversations, cups of tea and yoghurt.

Countries I’ve Visited

Ecuador, Ghana, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In
