Stockholm is expensive which made finding an open couch on short notice rough, so I splept in the garden of some gov't building, woke up and took a beautiful tour and went to the Art Institute.
Moscow is now one of my favorite cities on the planet! Dancing in high-society (scary) clubs and getting lost! yep, slept in the streets of Moscow!
Kiev is where my eyes were reopened for the first time (again). Thanks Emily and Olga!! Long live Reggetone!
T'blisi was short and fast but with great potency comes great responsibility, glad to have met Dion and her flatmate who are taking on that responsibilty in no small way to take my breath away.
Turkish border gaurds didn't know what they brought upon themselves. Refusing to pay any bribe, they claimed I didn't look like my passport photo...what, 3 years and nearly 30 countries and these guys at 2am decide I'm not me? ...bust out with the sleeping bag again and slept for 5 hours outside the gaurd station til they let me through!

This mission was nearly completed in Sept-Dec of 2008. I didn't get to Morocco or Spain and the thesis is still in progress.
I'm in London now and loving it! I went to see Stonehenge, lost another camera, John Snow's Broadwick pump, may new friends with my host. Scotaland has been wonderful-ish...especially the cheap cider beers!! From here....lets cruise "around" all of the EU!!

I'm a non-smoker, I don't and never have used ANY drugs - just for me, though. Having lived in 'sketchy' places (Venice Bch, W.LA, DWTWN LA, Seattle, Central Park...) a lot of my aquaintances and friends are or have been recreational users and dealers... I'm open to everyone's way of life.
I'm an aries, so you should be prepared for this!
Running, swimmning, living... all ways of pushing life to the edge... I'm still trying to fall over the edge: began runnning ultra-marathons (currently planning for a 100km); dropped out of secondary school then studied mathematics for the 'pain', have only lived in-doors in Colorado for 12 non-continuous months over the past 6 years (even in winter).

I'm totally capable of cooking and had a previous career in massage therapy if anyone needs some free massage!

It seems all I do is add a new paragraph to this all about me section when things change! So, I'm leaving Geneva in 3 weeks (its been fun with sub trips to Italy, France, Spain and ....i can't remember where else). But for those of you moving into new housing in Fort Collins for the new school term...I NEED A PLACE BAD! I love to cook AND I do the dishes and clean...just see my referals in Italy etc. I can also provide math and stats help/support!!

I have recently relocated to Geneva to work for the World Health Organization for the summer and will be moving 'somewhere else' in September (unless WHO gives me a job!!!).
Just getting signed on: Did an undergrad in mathematics, BS in Biostatistics, nearly done with MS in Environmental Health (Epidemiology focus) en route to PhD in Environmental Health Epidemiology.
I'm currently looking at adverse health effect of air pollution on infants.

School isn't everything. When I get a chance I like to travel to things other than conferences.
I spent the last three years of high school skiing and snowboarding the western US living out of an old van and competing freestyle (moguls) and half-pipe.

The time has finally come that I have a home and couches...yes, that is multiple couches (even a bed) for which to offer fellow travelers!

So I've been participating by providing housing here and there but mostly *I'm* the surfer!
I've been couch surfing the entire time I've been a member because my life and schedule have blessed me with this opportunity...someday soon I will semi-settle down and host ANYONE and EVERYONE!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the past I've only couch surfed with known friends. I did spend a few weeks in Auckland, NZ on some friends couches. Now I'm living in Geneva and paying rent to a fellow couch surfer do to the extent of my stay!! After a year of being on CS, I've met numerous awesome people who have let me stay with them!
