About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission--- learn all about the americas' peoples, places, cultures and languages. oh, and change the world.
ABOUT ME
I'm a.. lover, traveler, Christian, activist, learner, sister, wife, optimist, vegetarian.
My goal in life is to help create healthy communities. To me, health is not only medical but environmental, spiritual, political, economical..
My life and plans change all of the time! I am passionate about Jesus and environmental justice issues and am super fortunate to have incredible people to live and work alongside.
I love traveling because it refreshes me and helps me understand other people and appreciate other ways of life.
PHILOSOPHY
I aim to do more good than harm and spread love as often as possible! and there's always room for growth.
I think maintaining an open mind is such a vital quality as a member of the planet however there are a few things life has taught me that are pretty solid.
Another philosophy: Any given object or action is harmful.. until proven sustainable!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A powerful experience I had was locking arms in solidarity with a few thousand people to block the entrances to Washington DCs coal plant.
The redwoods are beyond description. So incredibly majestic... and the forests are quiet, serene, really. And so timeless that you feel so very very small.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a vegetarian and enjoy learning about how food affects our bodies and how the food we buy affects the planet.
My hubby and I have a knack for repurposing things and he can do woodworking.
I am interested in learning more about gardening.
