ABOUT ME

Most of the time I'm a pretty happy go lucky kind of person. I am quite active and energetic, my life consists of mostly play, some work and I sleep when I can.

I was actually born a Cambodian Refugee - though I don't remember any of it. My first memories were in Australia. I was brought up and schooled there but most of my working life has been in Asia.

I am currently freelancing with events and doing the odd photo project.

PHILOSOPHY

My studies in Eco-Tourism really helped me understand how the natural world works and as a result I have a greater appreciation and respect for it.

My life has been somewhat colourful and a big part of that is meeting up with some awesome people. So if you also love exploring and opt for the more interesting route in life it'll be great to meet up with you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am close friends with many CS's and at times participate in CS events here in Guangzhou. I enjoy helping those in need or at times tour them around to places that I am familiar with.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

It takes me a while to finish a book but I am currently reading Peter Hessler's "Country Driving" and Thomas Friedman's "Hot, Flat and Crowded". I also enjoyed his last book "The World is Flat.
Tim Flannery and Mary White are authors of other books that I found interesting.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

My Girlfriend and I followed an arctic fox near the Chinese/Noth Korean Border in ChangbaiShan. Accidentally we walked past the no go zone into North Korea. Luckily we were spotted by the Chinese Tourist Officers in time and escorted back onto the mainland. Apparently some of those that have crossed over don't make it back.

My passion in life lies in sports, travelling and nature so this is something that I can teach and share with others that I meet.

I appreciate a good "Shot", hence I am always yearning to learn more about the art of photography.
