About Me

CURRENT MISSION

musical busking, learning and sharing the joy of living!

ABOUT ME

I come from a small town of narrow-mindedness. So I became a dreamer. I guess I'm quilty of most mental crimes committed by philosophical drifters reading too much Gandhi, Thoreau and ending up a green young anarchist caracter like the sad Chris McCandless from "Into the wild".

I reached a point when I realized that my counter-culture thinking was a reaction, not truly active from my self. I've studied Ken Wilber since that... and these days I'm even more interested in social dynamics and the playfullness of creation. I still think... but I think acting, moving, singing and being practical is good.

I'm driven by a deep urge to understand where people come from in their perspectives. That's partly why I'm about to go away for some long term travelling again. (september 2009 I started to walk the talk. I'm busking the streets of Europe... just like it should be) ;)

PHILOSOPHY

why do I live my life... is a wonderful question and somewhat absurd in all its beauty. I live because it's the habit of spirit to do so...(oh yeah what a profound thing to say) to gain form and go on into new things... maybe only for the sake of the total fullness of life. (isn't that a bit new agey?)

"Why is there anything rather than nothing?"... ha ha I don't believe that there is!... I believe there's both and in the cyclic pulse of life and death thats how it must be. Eternity can only clothe well as life in impermanence. Spirit is nothing in and of it self, yet it is the foundation of all multitude and every form of life we can see... It's identical really... this is my philosophy of life. (I may make postmodern jokes, but Im serious in my attempt to comprehend myself and existence)

Everything goes on in numberless forms... and yet nothing persists... except nothingness... this great untouchable source that we call spirit... the me in me, the observer in my mind that I cannot put my finger on no matter how much I try.

Hope this doesnt scare you away... I think the art of being superficial is also a great accomplishment.

let's play!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Not so actively. But it's important to me to feel like I'm contributing when I travel. So please let me cook your food while using your oven. I don't have much to offer back in terms of a couch at the moment. I've got a house, but it's in such bad shape that I wouldn't say that it's a fair deal to let anyone sleep there. But anyone is Welcome! (thou I won't be there now... Im on the road)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Great. Haven't personaly used it yet, except for friends that I already know. But Thats about to change. I've seen the positive side of it while living collectively.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

timeless moments... its hard to put them into stories... but music is often a part of my peak experiences. I find it hard to point to a special event, meal, dance, game or person... it's a state of mind, not so much the surroundings... but of course... Happiness is a daily experience, not something rare and accidental. :D

Teach, Learn, Share

Music. I can teach basic guitar and piano. I can teach swedish.

I think sharing a massage is on of the greatest ways to get to know someone. I recently bought a "massage bench", cause I think it's a really good life investment. :) Bring more Oxytocin into this world and make an end to war. Sounds Hippie? ;)

What about yoga?!
