Hello! My name is Ed and I’m a 26 year old firefighter from Camden Town in London.

I currently work in London but fly back and forth to Barcelona on my four days off and live there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To explore a city properly and see a local’s perspective. Get advice and hear directly from a local whats worth seeing in the city.

To save money while travelling.

Staying in hostels is fun but often I only end up meeting other travellers and I just end up partying too much and I don’t get a good feel of the place I’m visiting.

NOT to date I’m in a relationship just looking to make new friends.

Interests

I love the outdoors! I am very into hiking, rock climbing and wild camping. When I’m not working I also like to skateboard to the beach with my headphones in and a good playlist!
If I’m not outdoors I like to relax and sunbathe/watch tv. I enjoy playing pool (billiards) and going for a night out with my friends. Im quite picky with clubs but if I like the music I will dance all night! However I also am a big fan of a more chill night at some pubs/bars.
I’m not very good but I love playing chess and am always keen for a game.

I read very sporadicly, the only book titles I can remember that ive read are (last week) John Grisham “rainmaker” and Leo Tolstoy War and Peace which I read about five years ago but really enjoyed.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy climbing/pool/chess and would be happy to teach anyone although I am myself only intermediate.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m happy to cook or help with the odd tasks around the house. I used to work as a labourer on building sites so I’m happy to do some gardening or help out around the house. I make a mean spaghetti bolognese!

I’ve been told I am good company! Ive been raised to always be polite, clean and respectful.
