Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because when I travel I like to experience the place from the perspective of the locals. In addition I enjoy connecting with people from around the world that, in all likelihood, I would have not met without stepping outside of my comfort zone. I believe that exposure and interaction to people from different walks of life helps us the individuals become more well-rounded, but more importantly, facilitates understanding and affinity. I look forward to meeting some of you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

From my great grandmother's family tree (19 children), I am the first to graduate from college, and I graduated from my dream school, UC Berkeley. I think that is amazing because it create the path for everyone else in the family, and they have a resource to leverage when planning how to get there.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: The only thing that we can't get back are time, and life. So spend your time, living the life that YOU dream of.

Learn: I'd love to learn how to speak Spanish and Portuguese conversationally.

Share: Your experiences. I feel that most people don't share openly for fear of being judged. Share experiences, and listen to other's experiences with an open-mind and open-heart.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a very light-hearted and life-loving guy. I'd like to share my time, stories, and experiences with hosts. I hope that they are willing to do the same. I'm interested to get to know the friends I haven't met yet.
