I have been living and working in a hostel for almost a year now and I am looking for couchsurfing to experience a different style of living for a short period if possible whilst I look for a new job and apartment.
As well as working at the hostel here I have been volunteering at a charity called Edumais in Cantagalo-Pavao-Pavaozinho teaching English with children in the favela there.
I can speak good Portuguese and would love to practice more with somebody whilst couchsurfing if possible.
I am in love with Rio and would love to hear about your favourite places here and, who knows, maybe I can show you my favourite places in Rio too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have lived and stayed in Lapa my entire time in Rio and I would love to get to know a different neighbourhood better as well as staying with a Brazilian to practice my Portuguese and explore the city with. I want to share my experiences and favourite places with someone as well as learning about theirs. I would love to learn how to cook some Brazilian food too and perhaps learn samba!

I can help with learning English with cooking, cleaning too. I've traveled to a lot of places in South America and Europe and I can help with suggestions of places to go.
Maybe I can even introduce you to some places in Rio that you have never been to! Vamos ver!
