About Me

I've been a teacher for over 10 years but even though I love my job, I needed a break. So I took a year off work to travel in Asia. It was meant to be an overland trip from Singapore to the Himalayas and back again, but there have been a few hiccups along the way so the route has changed. I really enjoyed how the year has panned out and hope to do this again, maybe in 5 years or so. In the meantime, it'll give me time to save, read up about the places, and maybe learn a bit of the languages.
