I was born at a very young age.

I started out in Winnipeg and have lived in The Netherlands (a town in the south-west of no more than 2500 people) as well as la ville de Quebec. I have family in The Netherlands, South Korea & Northern Ireland and find myself traveling to those countries often. The beauty of London and friends there make it an appealing stop as well. I like visiting museums (musea?) and studying the history of the places I visit.

I'm a gardener with leanings in permaculture and a casual environmentalist. I volunteer with Canada's largest environmental group and am a frequent micro-loaner on Kiva.

I'm a Beatlemaniac. I like almost music actually, am a big fan of the local symphony and acoustic music scenes. I'm a retired juggler.

Unfortunately, I am between homes right now in which I would be able to host people. However I am led to understand that this site relies on the kindness of strangers, until they're friends of course. Soon I will be able to host and I'm very much looking forward to that day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I prefer to meet real people and make new friends wherever I go, as opposed to hotels. This site can lead to new friendships and new adventures, finding that out of the way spot that only the locals know, much more than an isolated hotel room ever could.
