About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoying life through meeting people from other backgrounds and cultures.

ABOUT ME

I am young at heart, enjoying the company of younger people, particularly guys, and their enthusiasm for life. The world is now a much smaller place than it was when I grew up, and we can all play a part at a personal level to grow an international community. I am a smoker (which I shouldn't be), I enjoy drinking (which I enjoy too much), and I enjoy cooking (and eat too much). I am open minded and enjoy listening to the experiences of other people. I consider myself to be friendly, but also a bit shy.

PHILOSOPHY

I am out to enjoy as many summers that are left to me in this life. To liberate myself and start ticking off items on the "bucket list". Have fun!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to meet young people and enjoy their experiences and stories, while sharing some of my own. For this reason I am happy to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived in Brisbane from 2012 - 2016 and in the first couple of years I was able to host . My experiences were good and I have new friends from the experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Most genres of music appeal to me. Contemporary rock/pop through to classics. Strongly attracted to the music of my younger years (Beatles are still up there). Isaac Asimov is my favourite author, Wilbur Smith is also up there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's not really amazing, but performing aerobatics in a glider and teaching others how to fly.

Teach, Learn, Share

The Capricorn coast is a great place to explore and I can now spend time in sharing the experience of coastal living with visitors.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a large house with separate room for visitors.

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, Indonesia, Japan, Mauritius, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia
