Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm currently travelling through Europe, taking a few classes, visiting friends and some family, and some friends of friends, and actually staying with lots of people and rarely using hostels and that sort of thing, and it's been amazing! I actually haven't couchsurfed yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet.
Interests
I'm interested in lots of things, most recently stone building, which I learned while wwoofing, and also sketching which I'm just picking up. I also play some music (mostly guitar and harmonica) and read books and write.

Music, Movies, and Books
The best movie I've seen recently was a Brazilian film called "The Weekend my Parents went on Vacation." Music wise, I've been rediscovering Bob Dylan's "Blood on the Tracks" and missing the Sonny Terry that was erased from my Ipod. Recent books are "The Value of Nothing" by Raj Patel, also "The Grapes of Wrath" by John Steinbeck.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I just recently visited the old family farm where the Irish part of my family emigrated from in the 1870's. It was pretty miraculous. A distant relative showed it to me, and he found it from a description that my great great uncle wrote in a journal. On one side of the plot, there's a giant arch made from intertwining trees that someone in my distant family must have crafted.
