About Me
ABOUT ME
Current mission: Living and working in Australia - still moving about but now joined my girlfriend Kat. Working towards being a qualified English teacher for foreign learners and getting my yogi on at a Krishna farm.
Ed.
28.
English.
That's a start - it's kinda hard to sum up what you're like in a few words. It's easier just to get to know me.
In general, I just try to be a nice bloke. Spend every day trying to be happy & living life to the fullest whilst I can.
I can hold down a conversation on most topics and love to learn more about things I don't know. Although I also like to talk, especially after a few beers.
Previous missions have included spending 2 months cycling from Brisbane to Melbourne for charity along with three mates, riding my motorbike around Spain and Portugal for 3 months and 4 months in India, which to be honest, wasn't long enough!
PHILOSOPHY
Just try and have the best time you can whatever you're doing. Make your life as stress free as possible and enjoy it. Shanti shanti.
And most importantly - "Don't be a dick"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately I don't currently have a permanent place which is why I'm not accepting guests.
I have been fortunate enough to meet some fantastic hosts whilst travelling however, and think that Couchsurfing is a brilliantly unique way to meet (usually) extremely generous people from countries I visit or other travellers willing to lend a helping hand.
I hope that when (maybe if) I settle down somewhere I will have the opportunity to host other travellers myself.
Interests
Give me a subject I'll do my best to talk about it.
I used to work in sport, so naturally follow many sports from around the world. Mainly football, motorcycles, darts, rugby league + many others.
I'm a fan of most music, but an expert in none.
I like watching documentaries . Things I have never heard of before particularly interest me, acquiring random knowledge.
I like a good night out when I get the chance. I've realised the last few years I love dancing - I'm just not very good.

Music, Movies, and Books
My friends will tell you if you've ever tried to talk TV or film to me I'm absolutely useless to talk to.
I only tend to watch films if someone else is putting one on or if someone really insists I watch it. They tend to end up being some sort of comedy or action film, something like that. OR documentaries as I mentioned earlier.
I like a huge variety of music, ranging from Swing Jazz to Hardtek to Heavy Metal to Reggae and everything in between. It keeps your nights out interesting if you're into different stuff!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been blessed to have done many amazing things already in this life. I don't even know where I would start picking one.
I had a great answer for this when I was walking down a street in Goa - and can't for the life of me remember what it was. I will update when I remember.
Teach, Learn, Share
Life is all about teaching, learning & sharing!
As my friends in India told me on a regular basis:
Sharing is caring,
Caring is love,
Love is life,
And life is good!
Cheesy but I liked it haha.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've learned to cook a pretty good curry over the years. I can introduce some beautiful Indian food to your household.
