About Me

24 years old and moved to Barcelona in 2015. Out here for a few months then moving back to my home town London for the winter. I did French + German at uni and have lived in London, Bristol, Berlin, Leipzig, Clermont-Ferrand and Toulouse in the past. I'm a pretty easygoing, sociable person. Enjoy going out, meeting people (especially people from other countries), having a few drinks etc. Just a normal 20-something guy really

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Always had a great time every time I've lived abroad - it's always been a great way to meet fun and like-minded people. I'm keen to do more of the same out in BCN.
Currently looking for a flat here. Ideally a Spanish/Catalan speaking flat. If anyone is looking for a flatmate or knows someone who is, don't hesitate to let me know.

¡Hola!

A few years ago I won a competition hitch-hiking with a friend from my uni to the furthest place possible within a limit of 36 hours. Reached Lyon, France. Hitch-hiked on from there a bit and made it all the way back to Paris completely free of charge.

Teach, Learn, Share

Pretty open-minded person really, so nothing jumps out at me as something I have to learn (except for any opportunity to improve any of my languages). Likewise, if I can chat to others in foreign languages and exchange knowledge of words from other languages I know (especially English), that would be great.
And there's nothing like sharing good memories...

What I Can Share with Hosts

As I said, I'm pretty open-minded. I'd hope that other people could encourage me to do things and that I could reciprocate or pass on that positive approach to new people so that everyone does at least one thing that's a little out of the ordinary and new to them...
