About Me
"Si nadie quiere ir contigo, vete solo. Ya encontrarás más gente en el camino." 🌎 🎒👣
Born and raised in Mexico. Currently traveling through Europe.
Figuring out how to mix anthropology with pretty much anything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Staying at hotels/hostels is nice, but I feel like you don't get the full experience. Being surrounded by other foreigners pushes you to get the touristy experience most of the times, and it's cool, but it's not the real thing.
I had always wanted to do Couchsurfing and finally did it in Malaysia; I met the nicest Chinese family and I got to try on a Chinese-lion costume... this kind of experiences are unique.
Meeting and interacting with people that are emerged in their own context, and being a part of it is something beautiful.
I just left my apartment in Mexico City, but I hosted over 10 friends and friends of friends in the past two years!
Interests
Tacos, Pad Thai, stars, sunsets, street music, dogs.
Music, Movies, and Books
Live music will forever my favorite thing.
I literally listen to anything depending on my mood... oh and I have many favorite songs, so don't make fun of me whenever I point out a song, which is pretty much all the time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-Buying a one way ticket to Thailand and taking a semester off from university to travel the world.
-Making a short-documentary with some friends about the migration crisis in Mexico.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can talk about Mexican food all day.
