About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Eat everything in Italy.
ABOUT ME
I'm a writer and a chef who loves travelling and am currently trying to combine the three. I'm originally from London but I lived in Cairo for almost four years and I'm now in Italy and hoping to stay for as long as possible.
I'll be travelling up from Sicily to see as much of the country as I can on my €150 bicycle, cooking and writing as I go. If you think you could help me out on my travel then you'll always have a place waiting for you in London!
PHILOSOPHY
"You live and learn then you die and forget it all."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host people whenever I can at my place. Our house is always open to travelers and we've had a lot of cool experiences like that and met a lot of great people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I only signed up to the website in 2011 but I've stayed with other people in the different countries before. It's the best way to travel. You can get a feel for a place more than you can in a hotel or a hostel and you'll meet local people you never might have had the opportunity to meet before. There's so many people who have helped me so much when I was away from home and I always wanted the opportunity to do the same for someone else.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like music: Ska, Reggae, Punk, Hip-hop, and all the rest of it. At the moment I'm listening to a lot more pyscadelic sort of rock than before such as Sleepy Sun, Tame Impala and Dun Gen.
I like to read but since I've started university I've mainly only had time to read history books related to my course. Otherwise I really enjoy Hunter S. Thompson, Irvine Welsh, Margaret Atwood, John Steinbeck to name a few.
I like of lot of films like City of God, Memento, Withnail and I etc. but I think I can be a bit of a film snob...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been lucky enough to be have done and seen lots of great things but the most amazing thing I see for myself are in the future...watch this space.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning languages. My Spanish used to be alright, although it's been a while, and I'm almost fluent in Arabic. Currently I'm focussing on Italian.
I like teaching. I can teach guitar, show you how to juggle and if there's anything else I can help someone with then it's my pleasure. You always learn a lot by meeting and talking to new people, I think that's the main way you teach as well, even if you don't mean to.
