I'm Edd. I'm 26 years old and sometimes I find myself going to places I would never usually be able to afford to with work. And this year I'm going to make the most of it!

I like drinking beer, telling inappropriate jokes, watching all sorts of films (especially into dark comedies), some physical exercise, deep and meaningful conversations about the state of the world, and how we can put it all in order in one drunken conversation.

I've never used it before, but I have friends who have and all of them had great experiences. I'd like to have some of those experiences too!

Centres d'intérêt

Lots and lots of things.

Obvious things like books, music and films, but especially music production, synthesis and sound in general. I love naturally reverberant or echo'y spaces or places. Making and recording music in general.

The great outdoors. I love an interesting landscape.

People are pretty good too. I like meeting them, making new friends, I've been told I'm easy to get along with. I especially like getting introduced to big groups of friends who all share similar views on the world.

I like cook for people and find I can be quite creative once I get going. I make a mean Malaysian Laksa, pretty good with spices and veggies. I have lived with Vegans and Vegetarians so have no problem cooking for them. I do like cooking meat however, but I can definitely cope without it.

Im sure there is a multitude of things I have missed, but lets just leave it there for now.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Some books I have enjoyed in the past; Brave New World, Lord of The Flies, On Chesil Beach, His Dark Materials series, 1984, and many more. I am currently on a Herman Hesse hype, Siddartha, Narcissus and Goldman, Beneath the Wheel, Steppenwolf, Gertrude. I like heady novels that make you think.

Music has always played a really big part in my life. I enjoy a wide range of music and bands, but generally things lean on the weirder side. I don't want to list everything I like, but when I'm on my headphones, I like all sorts of acoustic, bandand electronic stuff; Joanna Newsom, Radiohead, Bibio, Sonic Youth, Mercury Rev, Flaming Lips, Clark, Jon Hopkins, Flying Lotus etc etc etc. When I'm partying its gotta get my feet moving; disco, fun stuff. And then when I'm in serious clubbing mode I like a bit of heavy techno and generally leaning on the heavier side of electronic music.

Movies - I'm pretty open to all kinds of movies, and can enjoy most things. Only things I'm not into are really soppy badly made films. I enjoy a soppy film , but it has to be good. Example, bad soppy - Dear John. Good soppy - Life is Beautiful. Dark comedies are by far some of my favs; In Bruges, Frank, Coen Brothers. etc...
