I'm a Masters student from Belfast, Ireland. I have a wide variety of interests and always open to new experiences. I'm interested in leading a more sustainable lifestyle and hope I can learn more regarding this during my travels.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm really keen on travelling, meeting interesting people and learning about different cultures. As I've just finished university I will be travelling quite a bit and I feel Couchsurfing is a good way to have authentic experiences of different places.

Interests

I have a lot of interests. Currently I'm trying to learn more about the Middle East but will turn my attention to environmental sustainability soon as I hope to begin studying for a Masters in Sustainable Energy later this year. Also keen on urban farming and have visited quite a few urban farms in the UK and Europe recently.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Mixture. I like some classical music and traditional Irish music as well as more contemporary electronic music.
Movies - I really like foreign language films but they can be hard to find in an English-speaking country. I would be more into powerful dramas, or even thrillers, than all-out action movies.
Books - Hoping to read a lot of books over the next year. So far, I have enjoyed coming-of-age books the most such as Catcher in the Rye or A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man. Aiming to read some Middle Eastern literature this year ranging from Orhan Pamuk to Ferdowsi.
