About Me

Hi, I am 25 years old and have just graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. I just started my first job out of university as an Engineer! I am currently working offshore in the Gulf of Mexico and have small periods of time off to travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to meet locals and learn more about different cultures. I want to live as a native and be more open minded towards the world. Eventually, I hope to be accustomed to people all over the world such that I can not only communicate, but also appreciate all the things that make an individual unique and special.

I always learn the local language and would always appreciate any kind of help :)

Interests

Basketball, board games, traveling, cooking, climbing.

I'm a huge fan of Agricola and Great Western Trail. These are my top two favorite board games.

Music, Movies, and Books

For Music:
Electronic: Emancipator, bonobo, basically anything related to trip-hop electronic.
Spanish: Reggaeton is slowly climbing up in my list of favorite. I really like Chayanne.
Asian Music: I used to listen to Chinese music, alittle bit of Korean. Right now, I’m a big Sky fan (Vietnamese).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I live and work with two very different perspectives while traveling and working. In my job, I work along side many people from the country side of Mississippi, USA. When I travel, I meet different people from around the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to share my experiences that I have had with the world and more importantly learn more about the culture/way of life of others. I am very curious how people grew up in different countries and the history behind the people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my travels and help others practice English/Chinese/Spanish.

I'll be happy to help cook and help around the house/apartment!
