I was born in Estonia to two Jewish parents from Kiev, Ukraine and grew up in Israel.
I've been traveling with my family since early childhood (as far back as I can remember) and after a long hiatus due to university and service in the Israeli Defense Forces, I feel the world is calling to me again.
Today I live near Tel Aviv and work full-time in the Israeli High Tech industry while slowly completing my Masters degree in EE (Computer Vision and Machine Learning).

I've heard really good things about CS from friends and honestly the concept seems fun. It's the sort of culture I'd like to join and endorse.
Getting to see new places is only half the fun of traveling abroad. The other half is getting to know the local people and culture, and what better way than to crash straight into their couches and lives.

Reading, Writing, Photography, Rationality and Social Psychology, Volunteering, Tennis, Chess, PC Gaming (Starcraft, Unreal Tournament), Media of all kinds (TV series, graphic novels, etc). I wish I had time to upkeep even half of these.

I'm always carrying my mirror-less camera with me, so photo walks will never be turned down. I guarantee you will get at least one good picture out of my stay.

I'm not much of a cook, but boy am I obedient in the kitchen; I'll chop anything you throw at me as long as it doesn't move. In addition, I've been told I have a unique talent for ordering food.
