Overview
About Me
I'm a writer, runner, linguist, and part-time teacher. I recently got back into traveling after paying off my college education. After a seven year hiatus from international travel, I was able to stay in Paris and Berlin in 2016 because friends and strangers alike opened their homes to me. I treasure those experiences and am looking to make more. Currently I'm planning to go to Tokyo for the 2017 marathon. I'm hoping somewhere here might be willing to host me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find the best travel experiences happen when you stay in someone's home rather than a hotel. I've opened my home up to friends, travelers, and exchange students in the past and have always enjoyed that immensely as well. It's great to make friends in other places and to share stories and experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've gotten to run three of the six world marathon majors (New York City, Chicago, and Berlin) and am registered for a fourth (Tokyo) in February 2017. I'm hoping to finish with London and Boston by 2019.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook for others. I am happy to share American and foreign cuisine alike. I speak five language to varying degrees (English, French, and Spanish are my strongest respectively). I'm happy to share my own story and listen to others. One of the best parts of traveling is getting to hear others talk about their lives and what are important to them. It helps expand horizons on both sides.
