About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning Spanish, teaching English and travelling.

ABOUT ME

I've been staying in Edinburgh, just completed a CELTA and now I'm looking to travel and teach English.

PHILOSOPHY

Uhm. People love it when you do washing up without them asking. That's often a good place to start and build on from there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Once I've found an apartment for myself I'd like to have couch surfers over to stay.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No couch surfing experience as yet, but I have a few friends who've had great experiences both travelling and hosting visitors.

Interests

I'm interested in writing novels, working on a few odd projects like children's books, and a website or two. I would love to travel around South America, especially Brazil. Eventually I'd like to go to Japan, learning the languages as I go.

Music, Movies, and Books

'Good night and Good luck' is probably one of my favourite films, In Bruges is up there too. And a great film set in Bolivia called 'Even the Rain'. I'm into Americana and most of the writers I've read are American authours (I'm studied English and American Literature). I love all sorts of music, lots of American soulful stuff and some British spoken word. I've been listening to Dylan, Frank Ocean, Dirty Projectors and Chance the Rapper a lot recently. Getting into my Spanish hip-hop and flamenco as well..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ran the Paris Marathon once. I wrote an hour solo show for the Edinburgh Festival.Terrifying, hard work but ultimately I'm very proud of that.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can probably help someone write a decent stand-up set if they wanted to try comedy. I performed in six edinburgh festivals and I loved improv while I was still involved in it.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Spain, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

United Kingdom
