ABOUT ME

ive been travelling mainly in US and europe (western and eastern); growing up as a transplant (from seoul to toronto), i realized that there are too many things in this life that i MUST get off my couch and see it all. ive been robbed in eastern europe, been broke and slept on benches in western europe, and took 22hr train rides in north america.
im sarcastic and cynical, but really, i do like travelling as it is one of the very FEW things that makes me happy.
now im back in toronto but hopefully i will be able to leave to south to see central/south america soon. my first wish would start in cuba.
then argentina.
i love cuba son music and argentinian tango.
now if i could just dance.... dang!

PHILOSOPHY

no one decided when one gets to be born or die.
no one is in true control of anything as we live in ebbs and flows many people with us, before us, and after us. so may as well live with the world symbiotically.
i love spotaneity and taking off for no reasons.

im going to start to spread the words; start referring my friends to this website, trying to build new network of friends over the web... and soon as i have my own place (ie. after graduation), i hope to host some krazies as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i am couchsurfing virgin but... in my past, ahem,
i crashed at some odd places.

the best was crashing at a stranger's place who i met under the effel tower.
not only i saved a few euros and was served home baked pastries, it brings me such smiles whenever i think about it!
also surfing in my friends' couches in vienna was awesome as we went around to do everything free that city had to offer :D

performing and travelling all over western europe on someone elses' money (scholarships etc)
getting robbed on the night train from krakow to budapest
meeting the best german boy in vienna ;)
seeing cirque du soleil's O show in vegas
playing the organ in thomaskirche in leipzig and notre-dame, paris
hiking and winetasting in southern moravia
watching world cup final in milano, italy
