About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To fulfill my uncontrollable compulsion to explore. To meet new people and new cultures. To give myself time to put everything in perspective. And to grow up.
ABOUT ME
I am an unassailable optimist with an unquenchable interest in anything that catches the curiosity of whoever shares my time. I have Narcolepsy and i think its cool... to an extent. I am a junkie, addicted to long conversations, and I'm always looking for a fix.
I am currently looking for a travel buddy as I believe ramblin' would be more fun with company.
FOUND ONE! gonna be a ramblin' duo yea!
PHILOSOPHY
You gotta try everything twice, you might not have done it right the first time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In the fall of 2011 I went on a journey of self-discovery to try to make the transition from child to adult. I toured the east coast from North Carolina to New York with nothing more than a ruck sack and the determination to make it through no matter what.
A month later I took a plane back home having met the most incredible and generous people and more stories than I could shake a stick at! I had planned to use couch surfing as a learning experience but during the process I fell in love with its ideals and its members.
Now a few months later I'm back on the road this time just for vacation. This time I brought a friend and we're travelling for its own sake, using couch surfing to meet people during our voyage, to make friends on our expedition, and to have fun with total strangers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started couchsurfing with the goal of seeing the world. Somewhere along the way though I realized that my most memorable moments were not taken beside landmarks or monuments, those moments were grandiose and fleeting. Instead I found that the people I met and shared those experiences with were what drove me to my next destination. I no longer travel for travel's sake but to meet the people along the way and to learn from them.
My CSing led me from Willmington, NC all the way to NYC sometimes walking sometimes not. But all along the way for that all too brief month I met the most incredible people and had the most unforgettable times.
Currently I'm on a road trip with my good friend Andrew, we're visiting: San Antonio, New Orleans, Tallahassee, Miami, Orlando, Atlanta, Raleigh, Nashville, Indianapolis, Chicago, St. Luis, and Colorado.

Music, Movies, and Books
Used to read so much I didn't bother to ask peoples names, now not so much. I listen to what people tell me is mostly independent rock but i resent the indie label, i just like what i like. I'm an amateur movie critic when i care to be and when i got some one to bash em with.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
You know I actually don't consider the things I've done amazing.
I hope that by the time I finish my journeys I will though.
Teach, Learn, Share
I keep a journal... of sorts. Its a journal of the people I meet, when I find an interesting person I make them write down an entry. The rules are simple: You have to be honest, and I'm not allowed to read your entry until I'm long gone. You can look back at other's entries and meet some of the people who have changed my life.
