CURRENT MISSION

Lisbon! I arrived in the first weeks of January 2016 and am ready for anything in this fabulous city. Sea winds, bacalhau, dancing up and down the hillsides, todo e todo. Your suggestions and participation are much appreciated.

ABOUT ME

I'm trying to be as open as possible towards other people because you never know what you will learn from them. Generally love to be with a bunch of strangers and share stories and bad jokes.

PHILOSOPHY

Trying to listen more and talk less. Not so interested in conclusions or destinations, I prefer curiosity for the road. Few things are really that precious, it all gets left behind at some point, but relationships are what you take with you. Happiness is unforeseeable, unplannable, always improvised.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first started by joining the community in Toulouse and was able to travel in France through people I met, and then CS helped me to make Buenos Aires home and to have some unusual views on trips around South America and the Balkans. It's the unexpected that I find most rewarding on CS.

Interests

I love books, reading and writing, fiction and non-fiction and poetry. I am always keen to discover new writers I don't know yet. Breakfast is probably my favourite part of the day, the world never looks so sweet as from a well-laden breakfast table, though otherwise I'm a bit rubbish at cooking. In cities, I like architecture, disco dancing, museums and coffee breaks. My favourite nature spots are forests and mountains, especially on long hikes. On a rainy day I like horror/ sci-fi movies and board games, possibly with a Bloody Mary.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

First backpacking trip to Africa, back in 2011. Volcanoes, rainforests and deserts! Still dream of them sometimes.
